Neti
‘Neti’ simply means the practice of cleansing the nasal passages with salted lukewarm water. Neti helps to relieve sinus problems, improve eyesight and counters environmental pollutants.
Laghoo Shankha Prakshalana
Laghoo Shankha Prakshalana (yogic cleansing of the intestines). This is the non invasive Hatha Yogic technique of complete intestinal wash or cleansing. Laghoo Shankha Prakshalana is a very simple, natural and effective procedure to encourage a good bowel movement. It intends to empty and clean the whole digestive system by encouraging natural peristaltic movement of the intestine, sphincter muscle and nerves of the digestive tract in order to enhance the cleansing process.
A total of 6-8 glasses of lukewarm with dissolved Himalayan Salt which is extremely rich in negative ions, are consumed in 3 to 4 rounds of this cleansing process. In each round after drinking two glasses of saline water quickly a set of 5 dynamic postures is performed for 8 rounds each in a traditionally specified sequence. Then again it is repeated with 2 glasses of water and same 5 postures for 8 rounds each. This way it is done for 3-4 rounds to finish total of 6-8 glasses of water.
