This yoga practice aims to improve the wellbeing of a person governed by fire and water, appearing as the Ayurvedic principle called pitta. The moderately built pitta types are characterised by a fiery determination, high stamina, and a sharp mind. A pitta's forceful personality could lead to inflammatory illnesses and overstimulated mental manifestations.

This yoga sequence is tailored to the traits of those with a pitta personality.
