Sleep is often the first area to unravel when stress accumulates over time. Once it becomes disturbed for months, its effects reach the mind, digestion, energy and emotional balance. A grounding and pitta-balancing diet was introduced, along with a structured sequence of therapies such as Abhyanga, Shirodhara, Pizhichil and warm oil applications chosen for their ability to soothe the nervous system and quieten mental activity. Steam and gentle sudation therapies helped release stiffness, while reflexology encouraged relaxation and improved circulation.

Yoga sessions focused on slow, steady movements and supported stretches that released tension without overstimulating the system. Breathwork emphasised lengthening the exhalation to reduce internal agitation. Guided relaxation and meditation helped ease his mental pressure that had accumulated over months of poor sleep.

Acupuncture treatments supported the release of tension in the face and head, easing heaviness and improving nighttime breathing. Emotional healing sessions helped process stress and reduce the emotional loops that often reactivated at night.

Sleep hygiene adjustments created the final stabilising layer. A custom mattress was provided for better comfort and spinal alignment, and pillow corrections improved sleep posture. Evening routines were simplified to minimise stimulation, and meal timings were adjusted so digestion could settle before bed. These changes allowed the body to maintain more continuous and unobstructed breathing during sleep.

Together, these layers created an integrated system of healing that addressed both the underlying imbalances and the night-time disruptions reported in his sleep study.

His progress was monitored throughout the stay using the Belun Ring, and its Sleep Reports provided detailed insights each night and allowed the team to make timely adjustments.

The first night showed clear imbalance with frequent breathing interruptions and prolonged drops in oxygen. As the programme continued, each report reflected gradual improvement. Oxygen stability increased, breathing disturbances reduced and the duration of low-oxygen episodes shortened. Sleep became longer and more continuous, and the fragmented pattern present on the first night began to reorganise into steadier cycles.
