MareileMareile Paley is an internationally recognized, innately talented Movement teacher with a deep passion for the human body and its inextricable link to mental wellness. A sought-after Pilates teacher and teacher trainer, Mareile has worked with people of all backgrounds and ages.

In a session she will work with you on your strengths and weaknesses, guiding you through exercises to help you achieve complete mind-body connection. Classes will be tailored to your own individual needs, taking your constitution and doshic type into consideration in order to create a holistic experience, which extends beyond the physical exercise.

Upon request a session will include a movement and posture analysis — often revealing ways to address issues of acute or chronic pain, posture, or higher performance. Together with Mareile you will set some goals, creating a simple plan on how to integrate the principles of Pilates into a sustainable, healthy lifestyle.

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a full body workout providing many benefits to your physical and mental fitness. It tones and strengthens muscles from the inside out, aiding posture and breathing patterns. Pilates is known to alleviate back problems, enhance your physical performance (e.g. golf, tennis, running) and aids the healing process for people with conditions such as arthritis, osteoporosis, joint replacements etc.

More about Mareile

Mareile Paley is certified in classical as well as contemporary Pilates with over 9 years of teaching experience and owns Pilates Retreat Asia a wellness retreat company. She is featured in the Pilates documentary “A Movement of Movement”, which premiered in the US in 2013 and appeared in international magazines, such as AsiaSpa, Pilates Style, etc. Mareile has lead retreats and taught workshops all over the world, including New York, Hong Kong, Bali, Hamburg, Paris, and Istanbul. Based in Turkey, where she runs a small private studio, Mareile continues to integrate her passions for travel, design and Pilates into her busy life as a wife, business owner and mother of two adorable boys.

In addition to private sessions, Mareile will be conducting two Pilates group classes as part of our complimentary activities schedule.

Session details:

Classes are either 60 or 75mn, and tailored to your level of practice:
75-min Introduction to Pilates (includes posture and movement assessment)
Restorative Pilates addressing issues such as back problems, tight shoulders etc
Energizing Pilates for those looking for a ‘good workout’
