The Himalayas appoints Colin Gary Hall as Spa
Director
New Delhi, October 31, 2003… Ananda
- In the Himalayas, India’s only lifestyle
destination spa appoints Colin Gary Hall as
Spa Director. In his role Colin will be responsible
for developing Ananda as a unique facility for
meeting every individual’s personal goal
of rejuvenation, relaxation and wellness of
mind, body and soul.

Colin has over one and a half
decade of experience in the hospitality industry.
Prior to joining Ananda, he worked with Raffles
International Limited (Singapore) as Amrita
Spa & Health club manager (1997 –
2001) in Cambodia and was instrumental in managing,
training and developing the spa team by implementing
the Raffles standards.
Colin comes with excellent operational
experience gained mainly within large corporate
such as Shangri-La Resorts and Hotels, Sonesta
Hotel Cairo and Hilton International. He is
also an accomplished man-manager and a seasoned
traveler. He has experienced with working in
hardship locations and multi-cultural teams,
within which he has honed his excellent communication,
training and leadership skills.
A graduate B.A. Sport Studies
Degree from University of Northumbria, Colin
holds diplomas in Anatomy, Physiology, Reflexology
and Aromatherapy. He also holds a Certificate
of Excellence from Essentials for Health College
for achieving a double distinction in Holistic
Aromatherapy. Colin enjoys meditation, yoga,
reading, theatre, traveling and playing tennis.
