– In The Himalayas awarded the coveted Conde
Nast Traveller Award
New Delhi, September 17, 2003… Ananda-In
the Himalayas, India’s only lifestyle
destination spa, has been voted as the first
runner up in the category for the Best Overseas
Lifestyle Destination Spa by the readers of
UK edition of Conde Nast Traveller magazine.
Ananda topped the ranking for its “remarkable
location” with a score of 97.34 per cent.
In
the same category, Pangkor Laut Resort in Malaysia
was awarded as the winner and Chiva –
Som International Health resorts Hua Hin, Thiland
as the second runner up. The awards were adjudged
by the worldwide readers of Conde Nast Traveller
on set criteria’s like ambience/ décor,
environmental friendliness, service/ staff,
standard/ comfort of accommodation, food/ restaurants,
leisure facilities, shopping facilities and
value for money.
